Year 6

Christmas craft - all children will be making a 'christmas craft' that they will be able to purchase. To make this craft we need patterned fabric (adult patterned socks, old sheets, pillow cases, scarves etc.). Please send your donations in to the year 6 classroom within the next two weeks.

Thank you

Christmas Fair

31st October 2018

Dear parents/ carers

The organisation for this year’s Christmas fair is well underway with some new ideas being suggested for new stalls to raise funds for our schools.

One idea that we are repeating from last year is for each class to contribute to make a themed hamper; the class teacher will decide on a theme & will ask for donations from parents, carers & family members to then make up that hamper. This hamper will then be used as a prize in a hamper raffle.

Year 6’s  theme will be 'It feels a lot like Christmas'

Suggested items for the hamper are anything that reminds you of Christmas:

  • chocolates
  • sweets
  • candles
  • biscuits
  • fluffy socks
  • alcohol
  • soft drinks
  • Christmas dvd/cd
  • Christmas room and tree decorations
  • toiletries
  • crackers
  • table cloths and table decorations
  • mince pies

Can we please politely ask that if any of the items are food related that the use by/ sell by date is at least the end of December & that they are in  sealed un-opened packaging, also that non-food items are new & unused.

Thank you

Miss Twidale

Please could all donations be sent to the year 6 classroom rather than the office so that they do not get mixed up with donations from other year groups. Could all donations please be handed in the week before the fair?

Thank you,

Miss Twidale
