To celebrate harvest this year, we are inviting children to bring in offerings of food for the Barton Foodbank. We have been talking to the children about being thankful and this is a way to appreciate what we have and to help those who are not as fortunate as we are.
Contributions can be brought in up to 1stOctober and left in class or at the office. Goods must be dry goods like rice, pasta, tins, packets etc; ie no fresh fruit or vegetables and, obviously, they must be in date. There is a particular need for tins of custard, tinned meat and fish and tinned fruit.
Weather permitting we will be celebrating harvest at the church on Monday 1stat 9.30.
Thank you for your continued support.
